The IOR Park in Bucharest, one of the city’s biggest green spaces, is threatened with destruction under the authorities’ watch. The documentary presents the impact of the illegal logging through the stories of locals and activists alike, told from the perspective of 17 animators.

From their encounter, a relationship blossoms that blends tenderness with a touch of bitterness—one made up of words, jokes, and silences. While the story may seem confusing at first, it gradually reveals itself to be multifaceted.

Annexe 15 - Oumaïma Saoud – Documentary – Belgium – 5’22 – ND
Annexe 15 is named after the Belgian document renewed every year by foreigners awaiting residency (a temporary proof of an unresolved status). Annexe 15 was made during a gap between documents, in the Belgian system I seize to exist for a few months, this highlights the enforced invisibility into the form: building a portrait of a person defined by absence and administrative delay. What emerges is a study of what bureaucracy does to selfhood.

A commercial for an organic supermarket is being filmed in a small Brussels studio. The crew is tired, and the schedule behind. Rudi, a new intern, tries to stay useful while navigating orders. A chicken, the subject for the commercial is placed on a pedestal infront of a greenscreen. The production moves slowly. Equipment malfunctions, communication is not happening, and safety concerns are ignored. People complain, but no one intervenes. Midway through the shoot, a crew member falls from an unstable ladder. The set goes quiet. An ambulance is called. The director calls the producer to discuss details. Production is shut down, which, somehow, turns out to be financially beneficial for the director and producer. Crew members pack up and leave. Rudi forgets her phone and comes back into the studio where she finds the chicken, left behind. She is unsure of what to do next.
