The Good Sister is a gripping psychological drama about family, trust, and difficult choices. Marie Bloching gives a powerful performance in the lead role. Director Sarah Miro Fischer shows the tension and complexity of family relationships and the hard moral decisions they can bring. After her short film Spit (2021), Fischer made her feature film debut with The Good Sister. The film premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and was later shown at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
