The birthplace of André-Modeste Grétry (1741-1813) houses a collection of personal objects and documents relating to the master of French comic opera.

The King Baudouin Foundation has recently entrusted the museum with a painting by Joseph Dreppe entitled ‘L'Apothéose de Grétry’ (donated by Jean-Pierre Stroobant de Saint-Eloy), in which the musician is in the midst of a creative act. To be discovered at the museum...
