The permanent collections
The permanent collections showcase the best of the City of Liège's Fine Arts collections.
A chronological tour from the 16th century to the present day represents artistic creation from Liège and around the world.
You can (re)discover famous artists such as Ingres, Monet, Pissarro, Signac, Magritte, Magnelli, Appel and Van Dongen, not to mention some of Liege's most famous artists, including Gérard de Lairesse, Léonard Defrance and Adrien de Witte.
A highlight of the exhibition is the works purchased at the Lucerne (Switzerland) auction in 1939: Marc, Kokoschka, Lieberman, Pascin and Chagall.
